By Air: Kullu Manali Airport in Bhuntar is 50 kilometres away from the nearest airport. From Bhuntar to Manali, taxi services are available and cost between Rs. 700 and Rs. 1,000.

By Rail: Joginder Nagar Railway Station, located 163 km from Manali, is the closest station.

By Road: Delhi and Manali are easily accessible. If you take an overnight bus from Delhi, it will take you 12 to 14 hours (or about 540 kilometres) to get to Manali.

  • Before starting the hike, see a doctor. While trekking, have a first aid kit and some basic drugs.

  • It is advised to pack enough warm clothing and the appropriate footwear for the walk.
  • The trek is not advised for kids under the age of seven.
