The easiest option to start this trip is by either reaching the Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) in Siliguri (West Bengal). Both are well connected to major cities across India, and it serves as a major gateway to the north-east.

Gangtok
  • When you arrive at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, take a quick transfer to Gangtok.
  • Don’t forget to take photos of the beautiful Teesta River along the way.
  • When you arrive in Gangtok, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
  • In the evening, you can go to Gangtok’s MG Marg to buy souvenirs and treat your taste buds to authentic Sikkimese cuisine.
  • Stay at a hotel in Gangtok for the night.
Zuluk
  • You will travel after a delicious breakfast to see the well-known Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake.
  • It is located at a height of 3,780 metres, boasts spectacular natural beauty, is a haven for migrating birds like the Brahminy Duck and many others, and is well-known for its colour-changing phenomenon.
  • Later, you can visit Nathula Pass, one of the most important passes on the intersection of the India-China border (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). (With an added fee)
  • After that, there will be a trip to the famed Baba Mandir, where it is said that every soldier is shielded by the soul of this deity in the hostile, high-altitude Eastern Himalayas.
  • Stay the night in Zuluk.
Zuluk
  • After a sumptuous breakfast, explore Zuluk’s surroundings.
  • Zuluk Zig-Zag Road, one of the most dangerous roads in India with over 100 hairpin curves in 30 km, is where your thrilling adventure to Thambi Viewpoint will begin.
  • Nathang Valley is a good place to stop for a short while because there are cool wind waves blowing there all the time.
  • Continue travelling in the direction of Kupup Lake, also known as Hatisure, which is shaped like “Hathi” or “The Elephant” and is a historic Silk Route destination.
  • Once in Gangtok, check in and spend the night there.
Lachen
  • Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel after waking up to a beautiful morning in the mountains.
  • Prepare to board your transfers to Lachen, a charming hamlet in North Sikkim.
  • As you drive along the North Sikkim Highway, you will pass several small waterfalls.
  • The road to Lachen passes through the lovely town of Chungthang, near Kanchenjunga National Park, where you can see the confluence of two rivers, the Lachen Chu and the Lachung Chu.
  • After arriving in Lachen, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing and admiring the scenery.

Lachung
  • Begin your day by waking up to the sight of snow-capped mountains and eating a hearty breakfast (at the stay or on the way at Thangu Village depending on the time you depart).
  • Begin your day by visiting the glittering Gurudongmar Lake, named after Guru Padmasambhava, who is thought to have traversed this region during his visit to Tibet.
  • The lake is surrounded by snow-capped mountains on all sides and is a major source of the Teesta River.
  • Spend some time admiring the lake’s colours before beginning your journey back to Lachen, where you will have lunch.
  • Take to the roads as you begin your journey to Lachung, one of Sikkim’s most beautiful settlements.
  • On the way you will pass by the Bhim Nala waterfalls – one of the highest waterfalls in Sikkim.
  • If time permits, stop by the holy rock at Chungthang that bears a footprint of Guru Padmasambhava.
  • Reach Lachung and have your dinner.
  • Overnight stay in Lachung.
Gangtok
  • Wake up to the sound of a yak’s bell and set out to explore Sikkim’s Valley of Flowers, Yumthang Valley.
  • This valley, located at an elevation of 11,800 feet above sea level, is known for its colourful primula, rhododendron, and other alpine flowers.
  • On the way back, stop by Yumthang Valley’s hot springs, which are said to have medicinal properties.
  • Return to Lachung for lunch after your sightseeing tour.
  • Later, begin your journey back to Gangtok, where you will check into your hotel upon arrival.

Sikkim

Confirmation Policy

  • The booking confirmation email is sent to the traveler’s registered email address within 24 business hours, after the payment is done.
  • In any unfavourable circumstances, if the booked slots are not available before the confirmation email is sent, then other available slots shall be offered & booked as per the traveler’s consent and an updated email will be sent to the traveler’s registered email address .

Know Before You Go

  • In case of private booking, the minimum number of people required is 2.
  • Any meals; other than the ones mentioned under the inclusions, will be considered as an exclusion of the package.
    Entry fee to the monuments and camera charges are not included in the package.
  • Any personal expenses like shopping, porter charges, tips or rewards, laundry, meals or drinks other than specified etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.
  • Price mentioned shall vary during the seasonal or special dates such as Diwali, Dussehra, Christmas and New Year weeks.

  • It is mandatory for the traveler to carry a valid address proof such as Aadhar card/Voter ID/Driving License/Passport along with them during the trip.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the travel date will incur a 30% cancelation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 15 – 30 days will incur a 50% cancelation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 0-15 days will incur a 100% cancelation fee.
  • Cancellations due to any unforeseen circumstances occurring due to medical ground or sickness, within 48-72 hours before the travel date may stand valid for a rescheduling to a different date of the same booking. This shall be validated through the supportive medical documents.
  • Any cancellation request of the booking shall be entertained only till 1800 Hrs.
  • If the booked accommodation type lies in 4-5 star category then the charges and timeline may vary depending upon the property’s regulations.

Payment Policy

  • The payment terms finalized at the time of booking will remain the same and can not be changed once the booking is done.
  • 100% advance of the total booking value shall be paid well ahead of the travel date adhering to the finalized payment terms.

You can fly to Bagdogra Airport in Siliguri(WB), then take the taxi to Gangtok. Alternatively, you can take the train to New Jalpaiguri then take the taxi to Gangtok.

There are many religious places in Sikkim which are sacred sites for people from all faiths and religions. Some of the most famous religious places in Sikkim include Gahesh Tok, Siddheshwara Dham and numerous places of worship across faiths throughout the state.

You can talk to a travel agent or you can also book a taxi from Gangtok or anywhere in Sikkim with reasonable price.

There might be some update regarding online permit in future but currently permits are not issued online. You can issue a permit when you reach Gangtok.
